Wedding marathon

You should cross your own shadow and occasionally try to get out of your comfort zone, which we did last weekend, because we have the most demanding wedding ride we’ve ever had. We often photograph two weddings in a row, but it has never been as busy as this time. On Saturday we had booked a 16-hour wedding in Brno with Shiv and Oliver, but when the question came from Šárka and Gusta, if we are free for their Sunday wedding in Mladá Boleslav, we did not know whether we could do it or not. We knew that we would not end on Saturday before midnight, which, with an estimated start on Sunday at 8am and a couple of hour’s on the road, meant quite a bit of trouble (much more when a motorway is being repaired in one piece and you know you have to leave the crossing Large time reserve). So we told Sarka and Gusta that we would be on a whole-day wedding already on Saturday, but if they did not mind we might going to drink a lot of coffee and maybe we would look tired, we’d spend their day with them. And it did not bother them. On Saturday we enjoyed the party from which we left something one hour after midnight, and after three hours of sleep, we set out at 4 am in the direction of Mladá Boleslav. Our fears, if we do not look like walking dead during the afternoon, soon took over for ourselves, because we were running around and having great time all day. We were surprised and enjoyed it as always. Finally, we were not leaving the wedding until midnight – and with the feeling that we had moved our options a little further. We agreed that we would not want to do this every weekend because we fell in bed on Monday and slept as long as our son left us but once in a while … why not.

Anyway, both weddings were stunning and at least you can look at the slideshow, just how much Shiv and Ollie were magical. For their wedding, we also have to thank the coordinator Veronika, who took care that all day was as easy as it could be. It was our first wedding together as a team.
